THE TEN
COMMANDMENTS
And God spake all
these words, saying, I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee…out of the house
of bondage.
Thou shalt have no
other gods before Me.
Thou shalt not bow
down thyself to this, nor serve them. For I, the Lord thy God, am a jealous God.
Thou shalt not
take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.
Remember the Sabbath
day, to keep it holy.
Honour thy father
and thy mother, that thy days may be long upon the land.
Thou shalt not
kill.
Thou shalt not
commit adultery.
Thou shalt not
steal.
Thou shalt not bear
false witness against thy neighbor.
Thou shalt not
covet.
Always with hope, “He
will not snap a broken reed or snuff out a smoldering wick.” (Isaiah 42:3)
Ex. 34:6-7 (MJB) speaks
of Thirteen (more) attributes of God.
“For though we
walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our
warfare are not carnal but mighty
through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) (2 Cor. 10:3-4).
“For though we
walk in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh. For the warfare
are not fleshly but powerful through God for the tearing down of strongholds.” (Messianic
Jewish Family Bible (TLV), (2 Cor. 10:3-4))).
